Our base boards carry A1 non-combustible classification and decorative panels A2, both with CE marking for the European market. Critically, this is a property of the material itself — inorganic silicate bound by autoclave curing — not a fire-retardant additive that can wash out or degrade.
- Non-combustible at 1000°C: no burning, no melting, no dripping.
- Smoke toxicity AQ1 (safe): in a fire, the greater killer is often smoke; our boards emit minimally toxic smoke — a decisive life-safety advantage over wood-based boards.
- Fire-rated systems: 8 mm board on 75 mm light-steel framing with rock wool achieves ~1 hour; 9 mm ~2 hours; 12 mm ~3 hours.
Indoor Air Quality: Zero Formaldehyde
All Zhongjing boards are ENF-grade — formaldehyde not detected — and carry French A+ indoor-air certification, the strictest common European label. For residential, healthcare, and education projects, this removes a major source of long-term occupant exposure and simplifies compliance with air-quality requirements.
